Alter Ego is a costume shop owned and operated by Christy Sullivan of Chico, California. We have 5,000 sq. ft. of vintage clothes, theatrical-quality costumes and costume accessories. Our costumes are available for rental, but should you find that we do not have the costume you are looking for, we are also skilled in custom costume design for purchase or rental, and we specialize in Historical recreations.
We are different from other costume shops, because we not only have more inventory than any other costume shop for hundreds of miles in any direction, but we also take the time to provide our patrons with hands-on, personal service. We provide "everything but the underwear"! We make it our goal to have you looking your absolute best (or worst, as the case may be) when you walk out our door. We aren't satisfied unless you look as good as we can make you.
